Rules

  • Please observe the speed limits when drving to Perseys car park and observe all speed limits when passing through Verbeer Manor to Snails Car Park
  • All ‘Otter prevention’ gates on site are to be kept closed at all times after use. Failure to do so will result in expulsion from site
  • Only ONE guest may be booked on and brought on site. The named angler is fully responsible for their conduct and behaviour. Children under 16 must be FULLY supervised with regards to noise, behaviour and actions.
  • Please arrive no earlier than one hour before your session start time and please observe your booked leaving time.
  • No retaining of fish, sacks and keep nets are banned
  • Large unhooking mats must be used and please ensure you use a minimum of a 42 inch landing net per angler (no sharing). Water buckets are mandatory
  • Barbed or micro barbed hooks only
  • Minimum 12lb mono line (No braid)
  • No fixed leads
  • Max 2 or 3 rods ticket dependant
  • Bucketing or reserving of swims is not allowed
  • Rods must not be left unattended at any time which includes leaving any other person in charge of your rods
  • No bait boats allowed. No use of the onsite rowing boat, unless permission to do so has been given by the Bailiffs
  • No nuts, seed, beans or pulses allowed – hemp and sweet corn are permitted
  • All fish to be returned to the lake as soon as possible, removal of fish off site will result in prosecution
  • No introducing of any live fish, this will result in prosecution
  • Dogs are not permitted on site even when visiting
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • Anyone breaking the rules or anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave without a refund
  • It is the responsability of the angler to have the correct and upto date rod lisences
  • Alcohol abuse and drug use will not be tolerated and will result in being asked to leave the premises
  • No loud music, no shouting. Respect all other anglers on the lakes
  • Wading is carried out at each anglers own risk and where possible use a prodding stick to measure depths before you enter the water
  • Fish care products must be used and on show at all times. We recommend the use of Propolis to treat hook holds and scale damage
  • Where possible after capture please allow 10 minutes for the fish to rest before weighing, treating and photography. Upon release please ensure the fish has fully recovered
  • ALL LITTER TO BE TAKEN HOME PLEASE. Any angler caught littering swims, car parks or the facilities will not be welcome back
